I want to buy this rod in 7'3 medium I have a penn spinfisher VII reel in 4500 to know if this reel can fit on this rod or take this rod in heavier weight

I bought the 6'6 Medium Spinning rod in the rare 2 piece version. The rod is sensitive, has excellent power to land quality fish of many species. The only complaint is that the reel seat comes loose and by others complaints about it breaking maybe I'm lucky that it only loosens. I just matched it with an Abu Garcia Red max spinning reel with 15# braided line. I have been experimenting with an older Abu Garcia Tournament spinning reel. I would buy a MH model if the reel seat were redesigned. Still landing monsters.

This rod is absolutely amazing. So, light in your hand and the action once you get that tug on the line is super-fast. You will be pleasantly surprised, that this caliber of rod costs so little.

I love everything about this rod! I purchased two pair for walleye season. The last guide has worn in after just a couple months of use! 7' medium spinning 1 peice 6lb flouro. I have never seen a mono or flouro wear into the guides. Other than this issue I would rate the rod 5/5 as it would be a best pick for your buck for sure.
