    Not the same Quality

I've had 2 Ugly Stick's for over 20 years. Love them! Bought a new one this year and several times the top half has flown out during a cast. Luckily the line didn't break so I was able to reel it back in. My other 2 have NEVER done that, to this day! The current rod does feel nice when reeling in fish. nice and light, but sooner or later my line will snap when the top half flies off and I will be without

Awesome Rod with one draw back

I've had two 7 ft medium heavy rods going on 6 years now. I love this rod it works for small fish and handles the big ones no problem. Where I fish is alot of structure on a small river. So that means you can not give these fish a inch. The only draw back to this rod is if you run braided line like I do it will wear a groove in the first eye. If they made the first eye out of harder/thicker material it would be the perfect rod. I would recommend this rod to anyone. But like I said if you run braided line might want too think about the elite rods.

Used it a couple times now and love it. It is almost perfect size and fit for me. This rod has became my new favorite
