I am a cat fisherman. I use the Ugly Stick Tiger Rods in both spinners and bait casting. In my opinion they are the best rods I have ever used. All the line guides are extra strong, the reel seats are plastic and they work fine. No problems whatsoever. They have the perfect tip for cat fishing, light enough for a fish to not feel the tip until it is too late. Down about 18" you get enough backbone to land a big fish.

Awesome rods, I have been fishing these rods offshore for decades. I have not broken one and they have landed tons of fish. This 20-50 lbs. 7' is going to haul up some beast! and I just picked up another lighter 8' rod 12-30 lbs., can't beat the price and durability.
