    Great!

    Great Rod. I got this for my B-Day and love this combo. I think that Ugly Sticks are pretty tough. Not too hard to use, but the first day is always hard. Don't get upset when you can't get the bait to work right. I practice with it by tying on a weight on and casting it in my backyard.

    Good Rod, Okay Reel

    I bought this combo September of 2018 because I wanted a baitcaster but I wanst sure about the specifics. The rod is amazing, I have caught upwards of 6 pounders on it and the rod has an awesome bend to it making it hard to break. The reel, on the other hand, is okay. I mean, it casts smoothly, and the only problem was when I lowered the crank, allowing for me to reel more to bring in the bait, I noticed it wasnt very good. I would barley turn up the crank and one pull would bring the bait back but when I barley lowered it, it almost made it impossible to reel the bait in unless I was reeling as hard and as fast as possible.

    All in all the one problem isnt anything major, and overall I would recomend this combo but with an abu garcia reel.

    Best rods ever

    Used ugly stiks all my life won't use anything els. From crappies to striped bass best rod out.
