I got my first Ugly Stik new in the late 70's. I think 78, but it's been awhile. It's a two piece 7'. I believe heavy, but might be medium heavy. The specs are worn as is my memory. In its early life it was my Chesapeake bay rod. It's done me well and I still have and use it today on Lake of the Ozarks. Bought 4 new ones for guests because they are indestructible and stay strong.
