Amazing and powerful rod, helped me to land my first Steelhead with ease. Giving me a lot of confidence considering it was about 11 pounds. Excited to use it to catch some salmon this spring, 10/10 recommendation!

I bought this rod for catching Atlantic salmon... Its powerful enough to tame big fish.. Yet the clear tip design detects bites from smaller trout when bait fishing... Top marks!

Rod action is fair for a cheap rod. Rod tip failed after a couple fishing trips, braided line cuts right through it. Might work ok with mono.

Great rod blank, casts a long distance, plenty of power with enough flex to properly fight a fish. Purchased to use for catfish/carp bank fishing. Quality is good, only reason I don't give 5 stars is because a rod as good as this one is deserves a Fugi reel seat and guides, or something of similar quality.
